On October 30, let’s all join together on Parashat Noach (the weekly Torah portion of the story of Noah) to Bless our Pets. Meet outside on the main lawn at 11:30 am. The students from Religious School will come out of class to join us. We invite the furry and the feathery, the slimy and the scaly members of your family to join us – ON A LEASH (or appropriate container) – to receive their special blessing. Only animals on a leash (including cats) will be allowed to participate. (Please also bring appropriate bags to clean up after your pet).

For all you KAYAC members with children, KAYAC is going to the train park in Scottsdale (McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park (Scottsdale Road & Indian Bend) on October 15th for a casual hang out from 9am-noon. Drop by anytime.

On October 23rd, we will be volunteering at a large pet adoption event at the Franciscan Renewal Center and KAYAC will be helping out with the dog wash.  Come bathe the puppies and help them find a home!  Must be at least 16 to participate

After taking the summer off, we are ready to get back up and running with a social event! We are headed to Dave and Buster’s at Desert Ridge for a night of games, food, drinks and fun! We have reserved the “Highlife” room, located off the side of the bowling alley. Come meet and hang out with Rabbi Schneider! He is new to Temple Kol Ami and is of KAYAC age. He is excited to be involved with KAYAC.

KAYAC has teamed up with the temple to help raise money for Kol Ami.

The Annual Golf Tournament will be held at McCormick Ranch on Saturday, February 27th.

It’s a 1:00pm Shotgun Start and Dinner is included with lots of prizes and awards to win.
